How the West Was Fun!

The Riverside Sunrise Rotary Club was a Silver Sponsor of the first annual fundraiser, "How the West Was Fun," benefitting the Big Brother, Big Sisters organization of the Inland Empire.  The event was held on Saturday, June 23, at White Park in Riverside, and featured many local restaraunts who brought their specialty dishes for attendees to sample.  We were stuffed!

The evening included lessons in line dancing, a wild-west show, and a silent auction.

Charlotte McKenzie, Jean Easum, and Janet Sewell learned some new dance steps.

Jeff Pardee won a raffle prize--a popcorn bucket and a torch!!  (Now there's a new way to pop popcorn!)

Go Dianne!  She is the master at helping organizations raise funds.

Barb and Steve won many of the silent auction prizes, including this vase full of roses.

Rick Buttner and Bill Abney dressed appropriately for the event.

Barb and Jeff met a new friend at the event.  Maybe she (?) might like to join our club!
